Cover Letters
Trying to find a job in competitive job market can be very hard! employers are flooded with hundreds of resumes in response to each job posting. As a result, recruiters and hiring managers use many formal and Informal criteria for reducing the f
lood of candidates to a manageable number of resumes. I strongly believe that a simple greeting on your resume will be enough to proof whether you have something to offer to a particular job position. However, if you have the qualifying skills and experience a cover letter make all the difference in separating you from the rest of the people that are applying for a particular job. Show interest if you really want that position find out who is the hiring manger directly – this may give you the opportunity that can result in an interview.
Here are some tips about Job interviews and thank you letters.
Thank You Letter Length-Job Interviews Interview thank you letters should only be a page or less in length in order to effective. Anything longer would be distracting and may intimate desperation. Just like a cover letter or a resume, a thank you letter will be scanned! Keep in mind that employer’s time is valuable. Jobs- Cover Letters -Cover Letters to Companies
One important thing while searching for a job -Keep your cover letter short for easy skimming? Stay away from restating the information in your resume, but feel free to concisely expand on any information that is particularly relevant to the position.
If you are answering a company job opportunity ad, address the requirements in the ad and speak to how your level of experience relates to each requirement. If you are sending the letter, just make sure your letter reflects some research on the company, how your background relates, and why you have an interest in that company.Be to the Point:Avoid unclear descriptions in your cover letter. Instead of saying that the position is the "right opportunity" for you, explain why it is the right opportunity.Does the company appeal to you? Is there a particular characteristic of the company that your skills have prepared you to handle? What are the reasons you apply for a particular company to apply for?

Resume Accomplishments-Prioritizing Accomplishments in a Resume
By:www.job.travel
One thing that is very important while searching for a job -You need to prioritize your accomplishments and skills according to impressiveness, uniqueness, and relevance to the prospective position. Don't bury the skill that would be most likely to impress a recruiter.
As we all know resumes are scanned quickly, so a recruiter may move on to the next resume if you lead with an irrelevant skill. Income and statistical data can make a big impression on a resume, so keep track of what you do in your daily work that is impacting the company overall.
